I have my own Loons!

I had been hoping that my male Loon would be able to find a mate on our little lake at the log cabin. Last weekend he did! I believe it is too late in the season for them to have Loon babies but hopefully next summer they will be successful.     You will have to give the Mr & his Mrs names (Larry & Laura perhaps?). How wonderful to sit out on your lovely deck and hear "your" very own loons! Sigh

    I just came back from a New Hampshire vacation. We had a little cottage on a lake. And there were loons! One had a baby on her back.
