I went and saw my baby today! (Or as Jen calls her - "the nameless puppy" - ha!) Look at this sweet little face!

Do you think she already knows how spoiled she's going to be?

Here's she is laying against her sister. I just want to rub that puppy belly!
Yes, I have a bad case of puppy love! I have to enjoy her 4 pounds of sweetness right now - cuz next year she's going to be a 70-90 pound girl! Can you picture it???

P.S. I thought of a name for my baby girl. I'm going to make you guess. And then I'll give away a prize to the 1st person with the correct answer! Clues and giveaway details will be posted Wednesday morning.
I'm guessing Bernarda, the first Swiss female saint. Bernie for short. (That might also help clear up the fact that she is NOT Burmese!)
ReplyDeleteAs to a spoiled puppy, you stated the very reason you won't spoil here. You must remember that every time you look into those sweet puppy eyes, an 80-pound dog is awaiting. It's a lot easier to make corrections early than when they are so large. And consistency from the get-go is essential.
Oh...I am SO happy for you.
She has an adorable face. So stinkin' cute!
ReplyDeleteShe is very cute! Very pretty face!

You can spoil a puppy and still have discipline. You can't spoil with love...impossible.
ReplyDeleteI have had German Shepherd Dogs for nearly 30 years. You spoil with the love and discipline with the learning. When you bring this darling home, find some good puppy obedience classes. It will create an unimaginable bond between you and your little gal.
Oh she is absolutely adorable Shelley! I am thinking you will call her either Heidi ...Shelby ... or Luna (Princess of Loon Cottage) :-)
