Cold temps at the cabin

Time is just flying by! Happy belated Holidays and New Years to all of you my dear blogger friends! Did you see the temperature above on my weather thermometer? It was -5 when I first woke up - ouch! Greg is hanging this up today. Ever since we've built our log cabin, we've become obsessed with the weather. Or maybe it's old age....

The birds have been flocking to our cabin like crazy. I love feeding the chickadees out of my hand - sometimes I want to close my hand on them and bring them inside and make them pets. (No, I'm not going to do this, I just THINK about it...ha,ha!)

Tomorrow I head back downstate, back to reality. I look forward to catching up with you on your blogs. Please let me know of any special posts I might have missed. Also, I need to announce a belated giveaway. Let's start the New Year with a bang!

  2. That's freakin' cold Shelley!! The snow is so beautiful though. I think conversations about the weather and all of the gizmos that go with it are age appropriate for us, LOL.
