Good luck on getting YOUR trophy!

Montana Tom - good to hear from you! It's funny you mention EBAY, the hubby just picked up a stuffed fox with a pheasant in its mouth! I think there is a Log Home law that states that...

But if killing (shooting) critters isn't your thing, click on over to eBay and bag one online! A few years ago I actually bought a beautiful 8 pointer for $30.00 and we named him "Lucky". Come to find out he was shot in Pennsylvania in 1954, but he looked like he just stepped out of the woods.Montana Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02021849663087857629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6286797172194714288.post-72674360116642762212008-05-12T12:08:00.000-04:002008-05-12T12:08:00.000-04:00I just wouldn't feel at home without some critter ...I just wouldn't feel at home without some critter hanging on the wall. When I was growing up, my dad had deer and elk. Now my DH and daughter have graced my walls with deer, fish and pheasant. If I would lay down the camera, maybe I will some day get a trophy on the wall!Lolosbloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14570743174148424126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6286797172194714288.post-60698388053353493622008-05-12T11:59:00.000-04:002008-05-12T11:59:00.000-04:00Jennifer - "heavy sigh" - just can't get away from...Jennifer - "heavy sigh" - just can't get away from them! :-)

Joated - I laughed at your post. My dad shot "a trophy" deer one year and my mom said any other ones had to be bigger in order to mount any more and sure enough the next year he shot a bigger one. The first one I think is an eight point and the antlers are symmetrical from the side view. It is really cool to see.Christyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11065943827173945174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6286797172194714288.post-57695481762896184932008-05-11T20:00:00.000-04:002008-05-11T20:00:00.000-04:00I promised my wife I wouldn't mount anything with ...I promised my wife I wouldn't mount anything with less than 10 points. Sigh. I've got the horns from two 8s, several 7s, two 6s, two 4s and half a dozen spikes. But there's nothing mounted for the walls of the Aerie.

Yet.joatedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03415726428637484056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6286797172194714288.post-69933478531005691482008-05-10T21:19:00.000-04:002008-05-10T21:19:00.000-04:00Yup.
