Dreaming of a blue lake

As we are headed up to our snowy cabin on our snowy lake, I will be dreaming of spring when the blue lake returns.

To my hubby - a quote from Anne Morrow Lindbergh:

“I have been overcome by the beauty and richness of our life together, those early mornings setting out, those evenings gleaming with rivers and lakes below us, still holding the last light.”

  6. lovely poem Shelley! what, dreaming of spring?? are you already growing weary of snow?? Spring is about 5 months away for us - when will it begin there? I have actually seen snow in every month here in MT except July. but have heard stories from old timers of snow on the 4th of July - can you even imagine? me either!!

  16. What a romantic lovely thing to post for your husband. The lake looks very inviting, especially since it's a snow covered world for a little longer.

  17. To my blogger friends:
I should have mentioned that the lake in the photo is Little Bradford Lake, and that is where our log cabin is located. This weekend, the temps should be in the lows 20's so we are looking forward to being more active outdoors. Thank you for your visit and comments! I will catch up with all of you on Sunday night!
    Have a great weekend!!
P.S. Does anyone use Satellite internet? I think that's what I'm going to have to resort to when I'm up at the cabin. Dial up just doesn't cut it! I'll make that another post!
