Bright Sunshiney Day

When we're at the cabin, we see the sun rise over the lake every morning. Every time I hear that song "I can see clearly now" by Johnny Nash, it makes me think of log cabin mornings, sitting on the deck, watching the birds and drinking some hot tea.

We are headed up this weekend and the fall colors should be at their peak. Can't wait to get some photos! Here are some from a few weeks ago.

Another morning at the cabin.....Scout is probably walking Greg right now. Ha!

Here's a little toad sunning himself. I had an explosion of toad babies this summer in our yard - at one point I had counted over 30 of them!

My Dahlias are still blooming and have become one of my new favorite flowers.

And now I leave you with one of my favorite songs....

You should put all your cabin pictures in a book! Or make a scrap book, do you do that kind of thing?
