Unfinished projects at the log cabin

Is it just me, or is Autumn going by quickly? I didn't make it to the cabin last week due to the flu. (Now why did I get that painful flu shot at work? Hmph!!) But this week we will be headed up there as Greg and I will be celebrating our 5-year wedding anniversary! Hope there is still some fall colors left when we get there!

I was thinking about all the projects we didn't complete this summer, putting stone on the outside basement wall, putting in the walk out patio, having a party with my reclusive neighbors, etc. Oh well, there's always next year! Winter is coming and I must break out my wine collection! Cheers!

  17. What a bummer that you came down with the flu even after getting your flu shot! Your cabin looks so pretty...I'm sure the fall colors will still be there for you to enjoy.

  18. Sorry you had to deal with the flu. I hope by now you are feeling much better. I agree with you in that I cannot believe how quickly time goes and my favorite time of the year is almost over. I am sure your neighbors would love to sit and talk to the lady who waves to them from her porch. Maybe next year:)

  19. I feel the same way, like life is just zipping by. So much that we all want to do and so little time. We were so excited when we got your Halloween card in the mail yesterday :>) My hubby got such a kick out of it. He been telling everyone that his little diva is getting mail now. Thank you so much!!! It will be in my next post.

  20. Putting stone on those walls will give you one beautifully finished home. Trust me on this. Ours was finished this summer. And, as you can see here, it came out great! (Corning's faux stone products are the best!)
