Log Cabin at Night

There is something so mystical about seeing the Log Cabin lit up at night. I can't wait for this winter to see the cabin covered with snow at night, have a fire burning (wait, I don't have a fireplace yet...)and seeing it look like a picture out of Currier & Ives. (Yes, I daydream quite a bit!) I'm thinking the Log Cabin also needs a couple more lights underneath the roof eaves. My Log Cabin projects continue....

It look's so pretty all lit up at night! What do you mean you have a log cabin without a fireplace!?

It looks so inviting! Thanks for stopping by and "visiting" me! I have all of my trip to Niagara Falls blogged and pictures too!

The gal who won the quote certainly deserved to! That was an awesome quote and I will have to use it when I scrapbook our upcoming "Cabin on the Lake of the Woods Vacation" in Sioux Narrows, Ontario!

It does indeed look wonderful and inviting with those lights. I can't wait to see how you decorate it for the Christmas Season.

I won't have a fireplace either! We have a huge oversized wood stove that doubles as a fireplace when we open the doors and put on the grate. It's wonderful to spend snowy evenings curled up in front of it with a good book!

We took the wood stove with us when we moved (it has our name on the doors) and I can truthfully say we never missed having a real fireplace.

Jennifer - Can you believe it?! Still trying to decide on a fireplace - electric or freestanding gas stove.

Reliv - thank you!

Constance - Enjoy your blog very much!

Dianne - I can't wait to decorate the interior & exterior for Christmas! So many plans! What is the est. date of completion for your log home?

Jen - I think I need even more glow! Ha,ha

Rick keeps saying the end of August. I am a realist, and think it more likely by the end of September. Until they actually get that roof finished and I see how fast the interior goes, I find it hard to judge.

I know I will be very unhappy if I'm not in for Thanksgiving. There will be no living with me if that's the case.

I also have a special trip planned for October 16 thru 21 and live in fear that suddenly they will declare it finished on October 15 and there will be no living with Rick if my trip postpones the move!

Gorgeous. A subtley lit cabin looks like Alpinglow.
