Whew - I'm done with school finals! Got a 3.42 this semester (B in anatomy, A+ in writing) so I'm thrilled about that. Anatomy was tough! And I had 2 semesters of it so I'll take my "B" and be very happy!
We are heading up to the cabin and will be there for a few weeks. Have various friends coming to visit s0 I've been planning my menu and fun things to do. I have my guest rules:
1. Do eat all my food.
2. Do not put any strange objects in the toilet.
3. Tell Scout how pretty she is.
Pretty simple.
I"m looking forward to gathering more wildflower bouquets like this one from last week and placing one in the guest room.
Whoops, Scout wanted me to remind you of one other guest rule - it's actually for the men. If you have to do #2, please do it in the downstairs bathroom! Ha!
(Yes, I know that was totally inappropriate to post but you should all know me by now...)

Congratulations on great grades! You did so well. Wish I was going to be a guest even with all the bathroom rules. :)
Congrats on your good grades. I hope everyone abides by the rules at the cabin!!! I hope you have a wonderful time and find lots of wildflowers and birds to watch.
You mentioned that when you went walking with Greg, you showed him some hostas blooming. Chances are if you asked some of your neighbors, they would be glad for Greg to "split" some of their hostas with you. Wish you were close to me and I would share! Have fun.
So happy about your grades!
You may need to put up posters about the rules.

Congrats on the great grades!! I think your rules are perfect :-)

Excellent results..well done Shelley. Enjoy your trip to the cabin..just wish I was close enough to test those rules. FAB.
I thought you were going to send the men out to the bushes...or the outhouse!! LOL!!!
Thanks for the comments about my son's wedding ~ we had a great time!!
I like your rules!!!!
You are so smart Shelley, good greades. Had I known how smart you were, I might not have read your blog. I am totally intimidated by people smarter than me.
:)
Enjoy your break!

Woo Hoo! Congrats about school!!!!
We are going to our cabin for "The 4th" weekend. Have fun!
Congratulations on your wonderful grades, Shelley....I am so proud of you! Well done! You deserve a good rest and some fun at the cabin...I will remember the rules when we finally get to visit you there! LOL
Great job on your grades!! Have a great time and enjoy the time with your guest :)
So proud of you! Going back to school is difficult at this time in life, and you are doing it so well. And, you are artistic in flower arranging. What friend wouldn't love staying in your guest room, and they'd be extra blessed with that beautiful bouquet. Can't believe how big Scout is.
Wow---I'm proud of you, Shelley... You are doing GREAT in school... How much longer???? Then--what will you do when you graduate???
Wish we could come to your adorable cabin this summer... Maybe one of these years we'll get there.
Hugs,
Betsy
Hurray for your good grades, Shelley. Sounds like it was a lot of hard work. Your guest rules sound like good ones to me. :D
Congratulations Shelly!!!! You are awesome! What a great job. I hope you enjoy your company and have a wonderful Fourth of July. The wild flowers are just beautiful ♥ I love your cabin rules :>)
Shelley you did good! Congrats on the grades. And, hey I'd be good with the rules! Enjoy your time at the cabin and give Scout Girl a pat for me and Marvin a scritch :)
I could live with those rules. They sound very reasonable to me. Congratulations on your excellent grades. Now you can relax for a little while.
Blessings, Star
I like your rules and I like your bathroom! ( Don't think I've seen any photos of that part of the cabin before. ) Love Scout's doggy toy too.
Log cabins and potty rules, something I can identify with!
It's been awhile since I visited your blog, and I have to say, I love the "new" look. There's changes in the works over at Robin's Woods too; I hope you have a chance to visit soon!
Too funny. In my case, if you need to do #2 you have to climb four flights of stairs up the cliff to the outhouse. I think my guests would love staying downstairs for such a "big" event. - Margy
