Weekend Plans at the cabin

We are headed up to the cabin for a couple days. My in-laws will be at their cottage and we'll celebrate Mother's Day together. Also on our agenda will be finding my Loons, catching big fish (that's Greg's plan) and counting how many stars I see in the sky tonight. Marvin's plans will be spending time in my bedroom window (see photo above) and counting how many birds he would like to eat. What are your plans this weekend?

Happy Mother's Day! I'll catch up with you on Monday!

Sounds like a wonderful weekend.
How does Marvin take to traveling? Looks like he is loving your cabin as well.
Have a great weekend in Northern bliss!

Shelley, I would certainly prefer your plans for the weekend over Marvin's plans. Mother's Day would have to be special celebrating it at a log cabin. I must tell you, as we were driving our daughter out to the Midwest, we passed signs to Lake Michigan, and I thought of you. I wished for five extra hours to look up your log cabin. Instead, mile after mile we drove, seeming to take a long time to reach our destination. Just wanted you to know, you were a thought in our travels. Happy Mother's Day to you!

I have been seeing lots of hummingbirds at our feeders! They are so cute and so quick!

Have a wonderful time. I am sure Marvin will be dreaming of bird eating. I mean bird watching.

I think I will celebrate on Mother's Day more than today because we woke up to snow and 29 degrees this morning! Just a dusting, but gheesh!
Mother's Day is supposed to go back up to the 50's at least! ha
The lake is finally melted tho!

It sounds like a great weekend.
I don't have any plans, since the kids are not around. They sent me cards with gift cards and cash, so I can go buy myself something I want. My hubby went and bought me a bird bath for the yard today. So I am making out like a bandit. lol.

Enjoy your weekend! I'm on a weekend trip to visit camping friends at a get-together. One of the women celebrates a birthday, I think it's #83. Will be home tomorrow by midday to be there when my three grown kids and grands come to call.

Dave and I went to see the new Star Trek movie which was Fantastic and then grabbed a bite to eat at Arby's. Today after church we're going to dinner at a little Italian restaurant and then back to our house for dessert! Hope you've enjoyed your weekend and spotted your Loons!

We are in the States getting Mom settled back at home after a month with us up in Canada. We'll have a quiet Mother's Day at home. Yesterday we had a fun flight down to Oregon and it was warm enough to go on our first camping trip. Rain is on the way, but I just know summer is around the corner! Have a happy holiday and tell Marvin HI from Stick Tail. - Margy
