Scout & Marvin's side of the story

Scout's version: I am a very good girl. I come when I'm called and I already sit. I'm very cuddly and follow my mom all over the house. My favorite toy is my rope bunny rabbit. I take lots of puppy naps. I have not nipped at Marvin the cat whatsoever and if he just gives me a chance we can play very nicely. Woof, woof!







Marvin's version: Oh please, I'm so OVER this puppy! Did you know she ate her poop yesterday? She's also peed in her crate twice. And about the toys, I've seen her go after mommy and daddy's shoes. As for playing nicely, if you call chasing me around the house wanting to play nice - then I have a cat condo I want to sell you in the middle east! I've had to slap this youngster on the nose twice - just so she knows - I'm the BOSS of the house. Cats rule. Meow.

Marvin the Cat has got some gifts!

Marvin, our log cabin cat - recently received a package in the mail from Cassie, Hootie and Baby Rocket Dog! Be sure to check out Cassie's "In Amazing Graceland" blog - she has a warm heart and a great sense of humor! By they way, those precious pups have their own blog and Marvin keeps asking me when he will get his!

Cassie - you were too generous! (Cassie sent bunny ears, a walking wind up bunny that Marvin kept biting and camoflauge mouses and balls.) Thank you so much!! Marvin loved his gifts!

Cabin Cat Love

We interrupt this log cabin blog to bring you a message from Marvin, our log cabin cat. He has a little crush on Knatolee's kitty Naomi. He was quite impressed when he saw her "cat on a hot tin vent" photo (you must check this out!) and thinks she must have a good job. He also shares a passion for heat vents, loves canned cat food and can identify at least 20 different types of birds. Marvin would like to know what she's doing for Valentine's day.

Marvin's life at the log cabin

Our cat Marvin just loves it at our log cabin. Today he would like to show what cabin life is like for him.

I like to relax at the log cabin and let everyone know that this is my chair.

I love getting into nooks and crannies to hide and then pop out to scare Shelley when she walks by!

Eating is a big part of my life at the cabin. I like to nibble all day!

Sometimes I go outside on the deck and dig in the snow. But in 5 minutes I'm crying to come back in. It's too cold!

My favorite part - receiving love and being held by my mommy! I've got her wrapped around my little paw.

Marvin the cat says as long as this Christmas tree doesn't pull any fast moves, then no one will get hurt. P.S. I can see you there Marvin!

Cat Nap

I think Marvin the cat is dreaming about going up to the log cabin this weekend. I better get his cat carrier ready. Either that, or he's tired from helping me blog. What do you think?
