Missing the lake

We weren't able to go to the cabin this past weekend and won't be able to this weekend. I leave for Wisconsin for log home training and am hoping their weather is better than Michigan's right now.

Between the puppy (I feel like I'm busier than Octomom! Really!) and getting ready to go back to school (another story!) - it seems like I'm out of time. So I'm missing the lake, missing the cabin and of course missing my bloggy friends! I promise to be back visiting your blogs regularly soon! And I think it's time for another giveaway.....

I miss my visits to the cabin with you. I am wondering how the loons are doing. And isn't it time for another Scout photo??

Hi Shelley - I've had just the opposite problem, if you can call it a problem. We have been up the lake at the cabin for the entire month until this week. We made the decision we didn't want TV or Internet up there so I've been pretty much out of touch. I do schedule postings to run in my absence, but I can do much reading and responding. Now it's my turn to get caught up. Enjoy the log home training, it sounds interesting. - Margy

You do indeed sound busy. This summer is flying by like crazy. Take care.

Is the weather wet or cold up there (or both?). It was cool-ish when we were at Walloon, and rained the day we left, and the forecast was calling for more rain.
Log cabin training? Going back to school? You have a lot to fill us in on!

Ohhh Shelly I know what your feeling. I miss being able to relax more at our little camper. I've made the personal decision to be done with this job by next spring, unless of course they cut our positions earlier. I will work part time and concentrate on my business. Life is just so short to give up on things that give us so much peace and pleasure.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your upcoming schooling!

Where in Wisconsin will you be?

I know just how you feel about missing the lake, that is how I feel about the country when we have to go to the BIG CITY. Shelley Marvin and Scout, you are too funny! Cute fun photo! BUT you are wearing me out! You are one good multi-tasker.

Where in Wisconsin are you going for your training and which company is it? We got ours from Golden Eagle log homes and they are based in Wisconsin.

Life does that to us sometimes...so much to do and so little time. You are a talented lady and whatever schooling you are going to take, I am sure everyone will benefit from it. I sure do understand how you would miss that cabin. We will too! I wish you the very best in your new endeavors.

You are busy! And back to school, too? Have fun at your log home training.

Having a new puppy is a lot of work. Our neighbor just got a boarder collie and she is up to her ears busy. It does get better with time. I hope your training goes well. Hugs to Scout and Marvin from Charli ♥

You do have to prioritize. Sometimes blogging goes down the list further than I prefer, but family and personal improvement comes first.

Shelly, We all seem at one time or another to run out of time and I understand missing the lake.

Have a great trip and be safe.

The lake is so calm and pretty, I wish I could just jump in! Scout is growing into a nice looking teenager! What does she think of the loons?

good luck with the training... maybe after that you'll be able to cabin blaze so you can slow down to go faster...
