Let's get in the fall mood....

It's no secret that Fall is my favorite season. I look forward to October when Michigan shows her glorious colors. I'm dreaming of eating fresh apple pie, drinking cold cider and decorating the cabin with several pumpkins and mums.

And of course I'm going to have to rake a leaf pile to jump into! The yellow fall leaves are my favorite! What is your favorite fall leaf color?

Let's take a look at the Autumn photos I shot last year in northern Michigan...

This one was actually taken a few years ago from the Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City.

*I apologize f0r my lack of blog posts and visits. I've been busy getting ready for school and started classes this week! That will be another post. Hope you have a lovely weekend and I look forward to catching up with you!

I am GREEN with envy. REALLY green. That is all the colors we have in Florida. Green or gone. Nothing in between. Have you ever seen a palm tree go from green to orange to red to brown? Me neither.
Love the photos and the explanation to where you have been.
take care, Suz

Those are beautiful shots. The leaves are just starting to turn here in the Adirondacks, I dread a long and cold winter. But you are right, the glorious colors are a great celebration to the end of summer.

I love Fall also, but yet, I'm just so not ready for what is after that.

I cant say goodbye to summer yet, and its very obvious Fall is arriving.

In the fall you should post both pictures from last year and new pics. from this year to see the difference. That would be fun.
Here I am telling you what to do. I guess sisters can do that right, LOL.

Your photos are gorgeous. I guess it helps to have scenery like that to photograph. I was just thinking yesterday that I can get out my fall decor for the house. It's hard to think it's fall here when we are still having HOT summer weather.

Looking forward to seeing more of your fall colors.

I thought fall had already arrived in your area when I first saw the pic...was thinking "NO!!!!!!!!!!!". I am not ready, although earlier today I was thinking about where to go for fall photos this year. I am still glad to see these are from previous years.

I love, love, love these pictures! Fall is the best season here as well!

I am so jealous that you have a Log Cabin, it's our dream to have one someday. Very beautiful!

Mmmmm.....apple cider, spice donuts, squash soup, cool air, woodsmoke, pumpkins, candles, cozy afghans, thanks for conjuring up the images. I love the leaves that still have green contrasting the orange, yellow and red. Scout will love rolling in the leaves...such a pretty picture!

Shelly, I am running late with comments, but I came to say hello and the pictures are beautiful. It is still very hot here and we will have very little color. Our leaves have been yellow and falling off all summer due to drought.
Roy and I are headed to Virginia at the end of this month, so maybe we will see some fall colors.
