Scout misses you!

Well Scout was complaining that she missed all of you and could I please put down my schoolbooks and say hello! She's 4 months old now, weighs over 30 pounds and is still trying to win over Marvin the cat.

Marvin wanted me to let you know that there's a free Bernese Mountain Dog available and that he'll throw in the dog biscuits if you pick her up next week! (Marvin is a little perturbed at Scout for chewing up his fuzzy mouse toys...)

Hope you are all doing well - I promise to catch up with you this week. The first few weeks of school have been a little overwhelming and I've been trying to get into a routine. I have 3 classes and feel like I have 10!

how wonderful that you are going back to school. Good for you!
Scout is adorable and has grown so much!
I also have been outside all day for 10 days in a row. We have had a warm autumn in the 70s and sunny for over 10 days in a row now. I haven't been reading my fav blogs or blogging as regularly either because I can't go inside until the frost comes now!

So nice to see these newest photos Shelley. Scout is growing and changing so fast. Really beautiful. Poor Marvin, resorting to trying to give Scout away!!! cute

Hi Shelley, I surely do miss you and your blogs--but I understand. I'm proud of you for going back to school. You will be so glad you did this. Blogging can just wait.

I cannot believe how much Scout has grown. When comparing him to Marvin, it's amazing how big he is now.

Miss you and Love you,
Betsy

Hi Shelley! Scout is really adorable. But poor Marvin -- he must feel his dominion is threatened! Good luck with your classes. It's amazing how quickly the summer went by, isn't it? Real fall weather has definitely set-in already! :-) ~John

It's been a few weeks since I've stopped by. Scout's getting big! How big is she supposed to get? We have a "community" toy bin for our dogs and cats. The dogs will spend five minutes trying to dig out a cat toy and always end up with the catnip balls and mice! If we don't catch them in the act, we'll find the toy in pieces all over the house. It must be revenge or something :-)

I've missed a few of your posts I think. I didn't know you were going to school.
Cute pics of Scout and Marvin.

Awwww she is so cute! That wicker bench is perfect for them. She has such a pretty face, not all dogs do. Oh, and Marvin, I still love you too! You know I am a cat person.

Shelley, are you a teacher or an adult college student? Either way it's a lot of work. We started back to school this week, I'm a TA in the highschool, managing the computer lab. I think Marvin's offer is just fear tactics that don't seem to be working on Scout! Love the pic of them together,... can just here the "vibes!"

p.s....Yes, I do know how to spell "hear"... hee hee.... but can't go back and edit. Saw the error just as I sent it off...

Shelley,
Scout is getting big & is as cute as can be. I see Marvin giving her that "look" like "can I really trust you?" Good luck in school, my friend.

Scout is such a cutie! I have two girls here that can relate to Marvin's pain. All in all they get along pretty well.

We had to take our baby to the vet yesterday. She is suffering an allergic reaction to fleas. We've tried a couple different things and they just don't seem to work. Now we're trying another. Keeping our fingers crossed.

School is keeping us busy here too. I have two classes and two internships I'm doing this semester. Wendell is taking four classes. He's struggling, especially with algebra. I try to help but I haven't taken it either... yet! :)

Take Care,
Debbie

Way too cute! I love the look in Marvin's eyes. I predict it will be a standoff at best. I just can't see Marvin making a welcome poster.

Scout we miss you too AND your Mom AND Marvin. But we understand that your Mom is very busy and we will be patient because she is doing important things. Marvin you need to hide your mousies.

Scout? The feeling is mutual! Missing you and your mommy.

Sorry Marvin, you're at least going to have to wait for Scout to outgrow that puppy cuteness. Now come on, admit it, she's not so bad, for a dog anyway.

BTW, did Greg ever convince Scout that her crate is a cool place to hang out or is he still in there trying to make it look like it's the place to be?

George said...

Hang in there -- you'll do fine with all of your classes. I wish I had as much confidence that Scout could win over Marvin!

Rose said...

Scout, you can come to my house....I even have some cats that would probably play with you!

looking forward to your regular posts. I know the feeling of being busy though and school must be exciting.

I was hoping you would soon share a picture of Scout and Marvin. I love how you write about them and their feelings toward each other. It seems like they might becoming secret friends.

I can't imagine going back to school at this point of life. I am sure 3 classes would seem like 10 to me also.

Hope you have a good week.
