Scout's Playdate

Scout recently had a playdate with her siblings and some of the adult dogs owned by our breeder. She had a great time running around with all the other puppies at the park. Afterwards, I had a chance to reflect on a couple things:

  1. Scout is too babied. She kept checking back in with me every 5 minutes. The other puppies could've cared less where their owners were. They were busy running away and getting into things they shouldn't. (I must be a better mommy - ha!)
  2. Scout and her brother Yogi were the nicest pups. (I say this because Scout and Yogi were the only puppies not biting.)
  3. Scout has the smallest head. I keep thinking of that movie Beetlejuice. (Know what I'm talking about - the guy w/ the shrunken head?)

Anyways, here's a slide video I put together of her day. And yes, I love my Scout WAY TOO MUCH!

Hi Shelley, What fun for the pups! You got some great photos and you are a great Mom to Scout - the love works both ways! I think you chose THE perfect dog!

Hi Shelley!

For some reason, the speakers on my computer aren't working, so if the video had sound, I didn't hear it! But the pictures are sooooo cuuuute!

Thanks for asking about Jilly - I don't mind at all, but no, I haven't seen her since Easter Sunday at Walmart where my mom & I ran into her, her daddy Justin, & Justin's dad. No answered calls - Nothing.

It looks as if Scout had a wonderful play date with her siblings. Are you suggesting Scout may be a little spoiled?

How much fun - I didn't know people got together after they got their puppies. I would like to have a pet, but it would be difficult with all our traveling around and living at the cabin. - Margy

I hate having dial up because I wasn't able to see the video but I can just imagine what fun it must of been to watch Scout with the others. When you mentioned how she would 'check back' with you it reminded me of things we're learning in my psychology class. It sounds like Scout loves her mommy too!

Take care and thank you for your words of encouragement yesterday. I needed to hear them. *hugs*

Handsome looking dogs with striking colors. From what you've said before they are intelligent, too, and it shows in the photos.

Golly she has gotten so BIG! WHAT FUN!!!! Oh my - I think I know what kind of dog I might be in love with. She is just too cute! I know why you love her so much. Where was her Mom, I mean, the one who gave birth to her? I know Shelley, you are her Mom.
How is school?
Hey I am going to Michigan in Nov. To a little town called Clifford? Anywhere near you?

What a great video! I don't think you could ever love your dog to much. Scout is beautiful and it sounds like you are doing a wonderful job with her. I hope you have fun this weekend ♥
