Snow - here I come!

We've had no snow in the southern part of Michigan. This morning as I write this it is raining! But alas, up north at the cabin, they've already received 10 inches of snow! And there's more coming!

I'm already driving Greg crazy with the 101 things I want to do at the cabin this weekend. (Snow shoeing, baking, more decorating, taking photos of Scout in the snow and of course - waving to the neighbors from the deck of my cabin as I wear my kitty pajamas! Last year it was sheep ones.)

And to those kids in my classes that wear pajama pants to class and think they are the "cat's meow" - they have nothing on me! Ha!

Snow for Christmas! I can't think of anything more fun than baking and decorating and playing in the snow with Scout. Nalley might know some of your neighbors!!! Gotta love cat pajamas! Be sure to share lots of photos.

How GORGEOUS is that! What I'd give to have some of that white stuff down our way! I'd be out there playing in it all day long! Your cat pajamas...SUPER CUTE!

Snow shouldn't be too hard to come by up there through the weekend. :=)

Cincinnati, on the other hand...not so much. But that's okay...the last thing we need is snow after what look like 60 mph gusts for here!

I want snow!!! Here all we have gotten is lots of rain and right now it is so windy, it sounds like we may blow away!

Stay warm,
Debbie

Wow- 10 inches? That's incredible! I think we're going to have received 6 or so by the end of today. It's so beautiful out and just the perfect excuse to stay indoors and get things done! :) Have a wonderful trip this weekend!

I love Hello Kitty. I want to come up this weekend and bring a matching pair and try to annoy the neighbors too!
Gorgeous snow picture....I suppose I would have to bring shoes other than the flip flops I am still wearing?

kids wear pajama bottoms to class? My parents were so strict about what I wore out in public and I hated it.

Hi Shelley!
We are bracing ourselves for our first big winter storm of the season. The weather alerts are saying we can expect up to 2 feet of snow by tomorrow night. We'll see!
Already have had high winds and have lost electricity for a few hours--its back up now I'm happy to say! I love it myself--but I know it's hard on a lot of people too.
Anyway-your weekend sounds like so much fun! Hope you have a wonderful time in every way!
Also want to wish you a belated Happy Birthday!
Blessings to You from the Cabin!

Oh how I wish I was wearing pj's right now, but I'm at work on my lunch break - sooo....! Oh well!

10 inches of snow? Dear God in Heaven, we don't see that much after years of winters - we usually only see ICE! YUCK

Hi Shelley, I knew you were getting tons of snow up there --after watching the weather on TV this morning. Hope you can GET THERE....(Of course, you all are used to driving in snow---as opposed to us southerners.)

Love those kitty pj's.... What is it with grown women wearing those PJ's out in public??? I see people in them when I am shopping... GADS!!!!

Hugs,
Betsy

Have a wonderful time Shelley. I can't wait to see the photos. You get so much more snow than we do. We had a little snow the other night, but most of it is gone, except for some in the shaded areas. Have fun in your jammies!
Blessings,
Marcia

It looks absolutely gorgeous at the cabin Shelley! Snow, a cabin in Michigan, Scout, Marvin ...doesn't get better than that for you I'm sure ♥ Still NO snow for us ...lots of rain today.

Enjoy your weekend but if you go out on the porch in those pjs it better be for just a few seconds or you're going to need some serious insulated long johns underneath! Between the plummeting temps and the lake effect snows, you'll be a snowwoman in the blink of an eye.

I want to see photos of Scout playing in the snow! Especially if it's really, really deep. That might call for a video.

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! Northern Michigan snow is beautiful -- have fun. Pajama bottoms on the deck are fine; in class not so good. My personal opinion is that they look tacky.
