Warm Winter Weekend

This past weekend at the cabin was just beautiful! Wish you could've been there! Sunny and in the 40's. Yep, the weather was warm enough to walk out on my deck in some crazy pajamas (my schnauzer ones this time) and wave to my non-acknowledging neighbors!

Not a cloud in the sky!

This is a photo of my brother-in-law and my niece and nephew peeking out from the loft railings. My 2 year old niece learned a new trick this weekend - pull down Aunty's pants when she's bending over to pull something out of the oven! Ha!

Well back to my reality of school work. I think I can name every bone in the body now! Hopefully it gets me somewhere! I'll be catching up with your blogs today and tomorrow. Thank you for still visiting me!!

Out here on the coast it is hard to believe it is winter. We've had snow only twice so far, and hardly any each time. That worries me for the summer water levels. It has been warm and almost spring like, but cloudy and rainy. Weird weather for sure. Not sure how things will go for the Olympics. Not much time to get some good snow on the ground. - Margy

hi shelly..... you have less snow there than we have in illinois. and it was colder too......boohoo!!!

wanted to let you know we are now working on remodeling a storage room in the upstairs of our log home. we are converting it to a loft sitting area....by knocking down 2 walls. the room will open up to the entry foyer and staircase....right now everything is soooo enclosed and dark.

i'll be blogging about it in the future...thanks again for your inspiring pics and blog.

Shelley,

You mean those neighbors haven't waved to you yet? Don't give up...don't you just love a challenge?

Cute pictures of the folks peeking over the staircase! I love your neice's style by the way too! :)

The cabin looks so pretty with the blue skies behind and the snow on the ground. I'll bet your seeing some pretty birds. I like the photo of your family through the railing. What cute kids.
