Quick Question!

Do you think I need to throw this bird feeder away?

Some updates: School is going well! I was recently inducted into Phi Theta Kappa which is an honors program for community colleges. Greg is joking now he's married to a sorority girl! Okay - then on spring break, he better take me to Florida!

Also, I've been volunteering at a local hospital and just love it. The highlight of my week last week is when this angry man was yelling and swearing at a fellow volunteer next to me because he felt like she gave him inadequate directions. When he left, I asked the woman "Who is that?" She replied "The pastor!" LOL!!!!

I miss all of you and will be around to visit. (I miss your humor Suz & Jen, I miss your stories and history Betsy, I miss your decorating Penny, I miss your comments Wendy a.k.a. little sis, I miss your projects Sandi, I miss all your interesting tidbits Mildred - and so much more!) Please let me know if I've missed anything!

Now all I can say is that you get crack a lacki'n on your studies so you can get finished with school, start your own business, hire people to do your job so you can blog all day. ;D

I miss ya Shelley but what you are doing is immportant. And goodness congrats on the Phi Theta Kappa induction! All our feeders look like that because of the dang squirrels. Not "Old Man" squirrel though, he is a good little red squirrel and just sticks to the nuts we leave under his winter tree!

Wow! Congratulations on being inducted in the Phi Theta Kappa! A real honor! I knew you would do well in school.

I am sure you meet all kinds of people in your days of volunteering. I admire anyone who spends time volunteering.

Miss you and your amazing photography in blogland, but with your schedule I can't imagine that you have any free time. Take care!

I can appreciate your bird feeder! I came home from the grocery store on Monday and "NUTZ" our resident squirrel was sitting on the porch railing. He jumped to the tree next to the porch to watch me bring in the groceries. I looked down and he had chewed a giant hole in the plastic, rubbermaid pitcher where I keep the bird seed. I guess he figured if I wasn't going to replace the bird feeder (that he busted) he would take it however he could get it!
Connie

PS maybe SCOUT could volunteer with you! I know a lot of hospitals do that!

Hey Sorority Girl! Cool! Guess you're never too old.

Yeah, my feeder looks pretty sad. I should post some close up pictures of mine.

Glad you got the book - I really hope you love it, please let me know! K? (even if you don't like it, but you will! LOL)

Thanks so much for following duanes song, too. Maybe God did put us together. Please tell your mom about my story and maybe it'll help her :) I love your blog. I have friends with a cabin in michigan and it's so beautiful out there. And I absolutely adore birds and feeding them. I saw a fox across the street from our cottage today!

Shelly, Congratulations on your induction into Phi Theta Kappa. Sounds like you are a busy lady. It has been a while since I was here, but I think of you and the puppy often, sorry I can't remember his name, but he is darling.

Yay! I was in Phi Theta Kappa when I was in college....

And I think your bird house is fine. You should see mine. ;)

School is important and you are doing well. Wayne taught for over twenty years at a community college. They offer excellent educational opportunities that are often overlooked. As for the bird feeder, I would think the tasty treats outweigh the looks of the place. - Margy

Just stopping by to say hi Shelley.
Loved your volunteer story.
I think the bird feeder is fine...as long as it holds the food.
