Yoo hoo Mr. Ice Fishermen!

Okay, some of you already know how I'm always waving from the deck of my log cabin to my non-acknowledging neighbors across the lake. About half the time it's in the morning when I'm wearing my crazy pajama pants and now combined with my big fluffy ski coat. Looks great, I promise! (HA!)

Anyways, the ice fishermen fascinate me. I'm always checking them out with the binoculars to see if they've caught any fish. Imagine my surprise when I was looking at them and saw one of them looking back at me with their binoculars! I waved. And you know what.....he waved too! I'm making progress people.....

That is so funny Shelley. I need to send you some of the big girl undies to go with your silly PJ's.
It was 60 here today and I wore my PJ's with my big coat to take the dogs out. I am a sissy!!

Yep, I think he likes those PJ's Shelley!

I wanted to stop by and tell you that we are in the process of buying 57 additional acres and we are getting a 3-acre lake on it. It's not as big as yours but I have dreams of taking a little boat or canoe out and watching/taking pics of the wildlife!

Busy Bee Suzy, I've got you beat, I wear my nightgown under my camo coveralls to run to the barn in the mornings and feed the goats and chickens LOL.

I'm having a big spring give away over on my blog if anyone wants to sign up for it.

Good job Shelley, I mean why not wave back right?

That's great, Shelley - They SHOULD wave back, it's rude when they don't!

Lol, maybe he found out that you have a blog and had posted about him not waving :-) I've never seen ice fishing in person (not a common sight here in California) but I find it fascinating too.

Marcia

Too funny! The opposite of our shore is a bit away, but I often take out the binoculars too to see if anyone is out there....I am waiting for this to happen to us....
Which reminds me...our bedroom faces that side of the house...better start closing the curtains...ha

Once again your sense of humor added to my day. I could just picture it all happening. You probably made his day. He couldn't wait to tell those back home about the cute lady in the PJs watching him fish, with binoculars:)

Bwahahaha. You are a riot!! Bet that surprised you huh? Word has probably gotten out that this cute little chick hangs out on her deck with her jammies on.

I'd have apoplexy if someone saw me (at our cabin)running around on our deck in the morning while letting the dogs out.I've been known to just have a t-shirt and undies on!! (too much info?!) How is the poochie doing? I must send my dogs over to her blog. Have a good week Shelley. Blessings, C.

It had all the ingredients of one of those horror movies... you know when you look out your window only to see someone looking in! I get the creepies thinking of that! I always think of Grumpy Old Men when I see ice fishing shacks!

Maybe now your neighbors realize what they're missing!

You need to get out there and fish with them! (Or at least just sip some coffee). I agree with Constance about Grumpy Old Men...seeing ice fishing shacks always reminds me of that very, very funny movie! ~John
