We just got back from the cabin and I had to share this Loon sighting with you! I usually have to go to the neighboring big lake to see the Loons, but now I have my own loons on my little lake heaven. And I haven't told you the best part yet.....
P.S. If someone can guess before midnight tomorrow, I will send you one of my Loon greeting cards as a prize. Must be a U.S. citizen and have a blog. :-)

Oh I'm so happy for you Shelley! I can only imagine how happy you are to have loons there! I'm guessing you have babies???? Oh how wonderful that would be!

That is an amazing shot of the Loon. I love them. We get them near out cabin once in a while. While we were out kayaking last weekend there was one nearby that called several times during the night. That sound always means Canada to me. - Margy

Baby Loon --by all means!!!!!!! Did you see Mama and Daddy Loon???? Sounds like they must be close to your dock this year... That is totally amazing.... I'm so happy for you and cannot wait to see more pictures.
