No thank you.....

My stepson offered me a present......

...but after seeing it pee all over the road and almost on him, I said no thank you!

*P.S. No turtles were harmed in the posting of this blog. Stepson saved the turtle from certain car death in a middle of a rural road and set his course on a creek nearby. I'm still scratching my head wondering how turtles are able to pee that much!!

I agree with you Shelley. I remember being on a date (one thousand years ago!) and the guy picked up a turtle to move it to safety and it got us both! OOOHHHH!

We saved one on a road just a few days ago and as soon as Paul picked it up I yelled: "hold it away from you..remember LAST year?"
Yep, we got pee'd on last year...and we wondered too where the heck their bladder was that it would be that big.
LOL

I didn't know turtles peed alot but I do know they carry some odd disease. Have a great week, Shelly. It's a little on the cool side up north and I think more rain is coming. I actually just built a fire in the woodstove.

Hi Shelley!! Had to LOL at Betsy's 44oz. Sonic drink comment...Aren't we all just a group of comedians?! Turtles pee when held because they are frightened. That's what I was always told. Was it a snapping turtle?? Those guys can be mean!

Yuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!

As for the comments I wrote about on my blog...they were from people who used to be visible - who used to have their email addys on their posts...and suddenly aren't and don't anymore. One found out WHY her info was no longer appearing and corrected it.

AND...I don't like posting comments on my posts to people who want to remain that anonymous.

:-) Call me funny! LOL!!

Have a great weekend Shelley!
