Love of a child and dog

Greg's best friend and his 2 boys came to visit us at the cabin this weekend. Scout loves all kids but was particularly enthralled with the youngest one. Scout loved him immediately and followed him all around. My heart melted to see these two together. Can you see the connection in the photo? I still can't stop saying Aw!

Hi Shelley, there is absolutely nothing better than a boy and his dog..or to me, a boy and a dog. Your dog is so beautiful.

This truly is a wonderful picture. If you're not careful this young man is going to adopt Scout.

Oh how sweet, Shelley.. That is a perfect picture of a boy and his dog... Hope they didn't try to take Scout home with them.... ha ha (LIKE you would have ALLOWED that!!!!!!!!!! ha)

Sounds like you had a good visit with special friends.

I love this photo Shelley.
Dogs know good people when they see them, and usually all 'small' people are GOOD. :)

Every boy should have at least one dog to raise him. The loyalty of a dog is a lesson he will carry with him throughout his life. The brevity of their lives will teach him to cherish every moment. To truly understand love, one must have a dog in his life.

I've been mighty blessed with dogs in my life. I love the pure joy and perspective they bring to my life. Though losing them hurts forever, there is always room in my heart for another pup.

Isn't it funny how they will pick out that one special person. I hope that young boy will come back to visit again. BTW...Scout is really getting bigger. I haven't been by for a visit for awhile. You know...been really busy, yadda, yadda, yadda! LOL
I was really surprised at the difference in how I felt when I went gluten free. Can't believe it took me that long to figure something out. If you decide to try it, I wish you luck!

Oh Shelley, this is so sweet. How wonderful of Scout to take this young man under her proverbial wing. She's such a sweet girl.

What a true-blue blessing to see a boy and a dog so in love with one another. It is a blessing to see a child grow with a pet, particularly a dog. We have had many but no longer.
We live too close to a state highway and have had our hearts broken too many times.

I haven't had a dog for years. Makes me want one again, but it wouldn't be fair with all our traveling right now. - Margy

This photo touched my heart today. Boys and dogs have such a special bond and it shows it beautifully in the picture. Bet they all loved visiting with you at your cabin.
