Shelley - I can't believe more snow. We are seeing lots of blooms and the grass is greening up here. I know we'll have lots more cold temps, but it is a nice change to see a little color and to dream of Spring. Hugs to you and Scout!

Shelley, the snow missed us this last time around, and we just got rain instead. I'm glad for that. Like you, I am ready to see some green. We will get rid of the rest of our snow here by tomorrow, I think. The temperatures are supposed to be a little warmer. I hope spring comes soon for you too! :)

I hate to say this, but we had a gorgeous weekend. Your picture of the snow is beautiful, but I don't want to see any more in real life. I hope you're seeing green soon.

Things are wet here! We have been watching the water rise across the road. (Hoping it stays there) Tonight its suppose to get down to 33 degrees and hit 65 tomorrow! It can't make up its mind.

I hope it warms up soon!
*hugs*

Me to!!

Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully I won't be away too long. Just too much happening with Tom being forced to retire and a HUGE cut in the amount of income coming in. Besides that, he's been doing and saying some odd things...maybe it's time for another visit to the Doctor...and maybe they'll listen to me this time. (they haven't in the past - his mom had alzheimer's early on)

This past weekend in NC we had 70 degree temps. Today it was raining and in the 50's.

I remember growing up in Mich and waiting for spring. If memory serves me right, by Easter, the forsythia was blooming and we wore spring dresses...

Oh...you don't want to know about my weekend, you'll be mad at me.
Perhaps a winter home in Florida for you????

We're having some warmer weather...If you can call high 30's low 40's warm. Snow still on the ground but the sap is running, so spring is on it's way.

Oh My Gosh, Shelley... I didn't have any idea that you all were still getting snow.. We have had such a mild month that it's hard for me to think about others not having the same weather....

Think you all need to move to TN.... BUT--then again, who would EVER want to leave that gorgeous log cabin????

Take care my friend.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Shelley, We don't have the snow like you do, but it's still a little too cold for me. Today was sunny and bright which makes us all feel a little bit better, like maybe Spring is coming soon!

Okay, this isn't funny at all! Seriously, it's still snowing?

Shelley it is beautiful at your place but it has worn out its welcome here! Ours melted and it is sunny and going to be 60 today!

Hi Shelley. A mixture of sunny periods and rain plus overcast days and the grass is growing. I don't envy you at the moment with all that snow. Stay positive ... Spring will arrive .. eventually.

I know! Me too! I think we saw the last of that white stuff for awhile. It is 50 degrees out right now and the sun is a shining! Feels wonderful.

Yup, ready for spring. But that's a long way off still, except in my greenhouse.

that was pretty much our weekend too, but i was amazed at how gorgeous everything was. i was up early and poured some coffee, sat in the living room looking outside and was amazed at how beautiful and peaceful everything looked like outside. This was the day after what happened in Japan, i was very grateful that morning for what we DO have.

We still have snow in Michigamme in our yard and our lake is frozen solid. Sigh.

Beautiful, but enough is enough. Our weather is starting to feel like the spring that it is. Cool, but interspersed with bouts of sun. - Margy

Wow! The snow reminds me of the place we stayed two winters ago. At the end of two miles of dirt, two track road, there was our little trailer. My husband buried our truck mid-door deep in the snow and almost hit the propane tank! LOL

But the scenery was amazing...
