For the love of lakes

A lake is the landscape's most beautiful and expressive feature. It is earth's eye; looking into which the beholder measures the depth of his own nature.

~Henry David Thoreau

A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work. ~Author Unknown

Seems like the summer is going by so fast! Didn't it just get here? Long hours at work and school stuff has made me a dull girl but never fear....I have my escape planned. Next weekend we are heading to the cabin and having a family party. One thing I am most looking forward to is sitting in my adirondack chair and looking at my lake. Also....seeing Greg try to take Scout for a walk again.....ha,ha!

Yo babe!
I looked up "A view of the Lake" and you are right, it looks great! Thanks. The cover is gorgeous, it looks like a picture you would take, LOL.
I need to buy some more stuff from you sometime. I'll have to get on that.

Great pictures, nice one of the lake and also love the picture of Greg.

Do you ever visit my book blog? I am always putting reviews of the books i read on there.

Enjoy the family gathering and the lake. Perhaps it's time for Scout and Greg to attend some obedience training classes.

Hi-I'm a former Michigander and a log cabin owner also.
I've so enjoyed the nature shots from your home.
Please drop by and visit my "camp" sometime!
Have fun over your holidays!

Your lake is crystal clear. Ours is mostly, but it is so deep that unless you find a sandy or rocky shore (rare), it is hard to see the clarity. Have fun at the cabin. I am going up this month and hope to get a few days each week up the lake. - Margy
