Glad your blog was highlighted today! It is great to see your pics and look at the progress. We are just starting the cabin fun (no logs but using rough-cut timber fallen from our site.) Anyway, I'll check back to see how things go.

This is awesome, I'm really impressed by your initiative! It was great to see you featured on Blogger.

I'm located in Asheville, NC and currently work for a vacation rentals company (Carolina Mornings Asheville Cabins) that allows people to vacation in mountain log cabins (for those who can't yet LIVE the dream)!

I write a blog about Asheville - carolinamornings.blogspot.com - check it out if you have time and I'd love to link to each other (just leave me a comment if you're interested in reciprocal linking)!

Thanks and good luck with your massive building project :)

Thanks for that link. I am one of the shrinking number of people that can say that I have done a short period of traditional log cabin living. It was in my youth and of course we loved it.
