Gratuitous Log Cabin Photo

Here's my gratuitous log cabin photo of the day. I love this wall of windows that looks out to the lake and trees. Still trying to decide if I should put those fishtail swag curtains on the bottom two windows (just to frame them and add a little bit of color.) I've been looking at the Country Porch web site (they have a great selection for the log cabin/lodge theme) - http://www.countryporch.com/ . I posted a photo example below - what do you think??

I think that curtain would look great. It doesn't cover the window up much so you still get the whole view. They also look very "cottage".

I decided to go for the bare window look in our place. I like how it looks so simple with nothing blocking the view. Those swags would frame your windows nicely though...

I think the other window and door are open, so it would look good on those two...seems like it would bring some warmth and look very homey!

I love your blog - it's really inspired me! We are building a log cabin albeit on a much smaller scale than you - well tiny actually - as a guest house in Dominica. In fact the builder starts today!

I like the curtains--they appear to be simple enough to add a bit of color without going overboard....
