I had been hoping that my male Loon would be able to find a mate on our little lake at the log cabin. Last weekend he did! I believe it is too late in the season for them to have Loon babies but hopefully next summer they will be successful. You will have to give the Mr & his Mrs names (Larry & Laura perhaps?). How wonderful to sit out on your lovely deck and hear "your" very own loons! Sigh
Leaving for Ontario in 2 days! Counting down...
Connie
Well, I was starting to think you were "loony", I guess this just proves it! :)
Congrats on your loons!
Awwww, I am so happy for you! That's great! I think you should name them Bonnie and Clyde. Maybe you should have a naming contest!
Now the name of your cabin really is fitting! I love this photo.

I just came back from a New Hampshire vacation. We had a little cottage on a lake. And there were loons! One had a baby on her back.
Love is in the air or shall we say in the water! Congrats on your lovely loon couple!!!
How wonderful! Everytime I hear about loons I think of the movie on Golden Pond....
