Weather

It's wet and rainy over here! How about you?

Psst....I'm sneaking away to the cabin this afternoon. I'm on a Loon mission. Also, I'll try to find some other wildlife to photograph so you don't get sick of my birds all the time. Lol! An elk or coyote would be nice....

It's wet and rainy here, too. We're supposed to have a low of 37* on Saturday. Can you believe that one? LOL

Oh my gosh i LOVE this picture!!!!
We need rain so badly here in Southern Calif. Trade you. We're more than likely going to be rationed this summer - doesn't that sound like fun? Talk about giving up your garden - we may not be able to water it! That is just a rumor - but golly I hope it doesn't happen!
Enjoy your rain ladies!!!! One of God's wonderful gifts!

I don't think we ever get tired of your bird pictures. The blue jay looks as if it has had enough rain -- maybe i can send some of the rain our way. We need it!

Cute cute wet little bluejay. It is a little cloudy but no rain. Have fun viewing animals.

Somehow I don't think the Bluejay cares a whit about the rain. Very cute photo.

Oh, if you do find an elk or coyote, don't try to feed either of them from your hand!

Shelly, Looks like our rain may be over for a few days, but we dare not complain, we need the pasture grass.

At the lake house the water covered most the decks and it was 5 feet up in our yard. They got worried the dam wouldn't hold so the opened the gates, but they are already flood south, so catch 22.

Wish you were hear to take photos in my yard....hugh flock of yellow finches stopped for one day, a wild turkey and 3 hens came through and yesterday a large turtle came strolling down the driveway. This morn there were 2 young does in the back pasture and a large blue heron was fishing in the pond.

Lots of photo opportunities!

Awesome picture. I love it!
Warm weather is certainly slow to come here hey? At least those fire warnings have dropped some.
Happy looning!
BTW, thank you for directing me to Rural Ramblers blog. Glad my post touched a few cat lovers!

That jay looks disgusted... I think he needs a blow-dry!!! What do you think???? ha

I'm extremely busy now--getting ready to leave on vacation on Sat. morning. If I don't comment as much, please forgive me.

Hugs,
Betsy

Shelley, We were trying to have the larger pictures like you do. I love how your pictures are so perfect in size. As you can see, something went wrong. We will correct it soon. Thanks for your encouragement.

I've never been to Michigan but next summer my Hub's family (on his mother's side) is having a family reunion that we plan on attending. They are all up around Traverse City and Remus, wherever that is? Ha Ha! I've been to Minnesota and Wisconsin, does that count?
