Things I like about Northern Michigan...

Every time we make the 3 hour trek up to our log cabin in Northern Michigan, I dream about the time that Greg and I can stay up there forever. It's difficult to describe the beauty of Northern Michigan and do it justice, but I thought I'd share a few images of why I love it so much.

I love your reasons to love Michigan. Not different from my reasons to love the north country of NY,... you are really whetting my appetite to visit MI and check it out.

I've never been to Northern Michigan, or Southern, Eastern or Western Michigan, for that matter! After seeing all of your gorgeous pictures, that might just have to be added to my "must see" list!

You take the most amazing pictures! If you are not already a professional photographer you might want to consider becoming one. You capture the emotion of the moment. They are all just beautiful ♥ I especially like the one of the butterfly and the loon. Thank you for sharing. I hope you have a wonderful weekend in your cozy little cabin on the lake :>)

Ohhhh yes, Northern Michigan. Ask my hubby what his favorite thing about it is, and he'll say "the weather". It gets terribly humid down here in southern Ohio in the summer, but very rarely any humidity up there! And we don't get much snow down here... certainly not enough to play in! But plenty of that up there! I love it for clean, crisp air, the beautiful lakes, and for its simple beauty. I'll email you soon about our trip up north... we'll be up in mid-July.

I love the upper pennisula, too. Door County, Wisconsin reminds me of northern Michigan. It is so tranquil, especially in the off season. I love your photos.

Thanks for the note card prize! I received it via the mail. I'm going to find a cute little frame and put it in my reading nook.

Thanks for the memories. Having grown up in MN, I too love up North. There is something so wonderful about it. I used to ski in the UP. Ah the memories. Sharon

LOL - As I scrolled down I kept thinking, "I'm going to say that THAT is my favorite photo ... no ... that one. No ... that one!" They're all so nice. I think the little pine is my favorite though. Sorry I haven't been able to check in as much with getting ready for the move!
