Soccer anyone?

I didn't get to go to the cabin this weekend but Greg did go up with my stepson for a weekend of fishing. I decided to stay behind and enjoy my new little niece Charlotte. Also, Scout wanted to have a soccer tournament in the yard and that took up a lot of time as well! :-)

Greg called me yesterday and let me know there were a pair of loons right in front of the dock. I told him to invite them in for tea, minnows and anything else they wanted. I am counting on them having babies this year!

It looks as if Scout is enjoying her soccer tournament. I would imagine that she is rather difficult to catch. I hope the loons do have some babies for you to enjoy.

OMG! I would die to have loons come that close to our dock..you must have been a bit disappointed to miss them, but you always get good photos of them,so they will be there the next time you go!
We have two pair of geese coming to our dock with their six babies already! I took photos today so will be posting them soon.

Probably a new little neice would be one of the few things that would keep you from the cabin. So happy for you! Scout must love being part of your family. She is gets to play soccer and entertain the Loons:)
