Love and waiting

Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.

~Henry Van Dyke

I shot this photo as I was heading back to shore from a morning of kayaking. There was something about the moment, two of the most precious living beings in my life waiting for me.

Of course as soon as Scout saw her mommy, she ran out to the kayak and almost tipped me over with my expensive camera equipment. I'm definitely her number one...

This is a beautiful quote Shelley.
Isn't love grand...the love you feel for Greg and Scout and the love they feel for you....
But Greg knows better, he knows how expensive the camera equipment is.
He can contain his excitment for a few moments. :)

Great shot! I would love to have a pet, but it is too complicated with all of our traveling and life on a float cabin. - Margy

Both of these pictures express love and care by all three parties. Kayaking in a location like you do is such a privilege. I can tell you are loved.

Love the photos, especially the first one! What a sweet moment to capture. And I adore that she just had to come out and run right to you, and that you caught it on film! :) Dogs enhance our lives so, so much.
