- The Peaceful alternative.
- Snowmobile and golf without traffic jams!
Maybe this will grow bigger next year. I'm even thinking about having my own float. Greg is telling me "leave those people alone! let them have their own parade!" - but my argument is that we are a part of the town - come on - I won't be obnoxious. I think he's just afraid I'll make him sit on a float. Do you have any parade float ideas for me? Please share them!
*P.S. Don't forget about my Fall giveaway! Scroll down to yesterdays post to enter!
These kids were throwing beads and candy! I even caught some!
The IGA ladies hooked up 3 shopping carts together. Aren't they patriotic?!
A snazzy yellow car! Do you know what this is? I don't have a clue.
Cute kids ready for halloween!
The "float" that every guy drooled over. Who wouldn't want their own John Deere tractor?!

Howz about a 'log ark' for a float?
And I think the yellow car is a 1950 Jeepster. ;-)
that's what the license plate says anyway.? lol
Any town with an IGA is okay in my book. The Rittman IGA always gets plenty of space on my blog.
I haven't stopped by for awhile, but I am back. I think you and Greg should construct some kind of log cabin replica - maybe out of those styrofoam log beam things. Might be expensive but you could use it for years of parades.
I grew up in a small town and your parade reminded me of my past. There is nothing like small town community spirit!

Jen - Always good to have logs involved! :-) As for the "jeepster" - I thought that's what he named his car - so you can see how well I know my cars...ha,ha.
74 - Glad you like the IGA too! Ours has the nicest people in there!
Violet - Nice to see you! Yes - need a float that will last me..
Penny - I agree about small town spirit - it's just more warm & friendly.
OH, I just love a parade. We had one this past Saturday. I will be posting about it soon!
