Made it to the log cabin

It's 18 degrees and partly sunny today. The snow is piled high and it's nice and snug in the log cabin. A storm front is suppose to blow through tonight so we'll see what happens. (Besides more shoveling!) I hope all of you are staying warm!

Majority of blog readers rules! I added the lights to the garland and I think it was the crowning touch!

Here's Marvin with the moose ornament he snagged off the Christmas tree. I didn't have the heart to take it from him when he's all cuddled up with his moose baby. Awwww!

Glad you made it... I've been thinking about you and that trip all day!!! I like the lights on the garland .. Good Move!!!!

Marvin's got the right idea... Wish I were small enough to curl up in a ball!!!

Stay WARM and SNUG... Drink some extra hot chocolate tonight. By the way, do you have a wood-burning fireplace in that cabin???? That would be a MUST for me.
Hugs,
Betsy

I don't think I said yeah or nay to the lights, but it does look very well with the lights. Wouldn't have missed them, but now that you have them there it does make it look more special.

Love the lights and the kitty! He looks so comfy!

Sorry it is so cold there! Today and tomorrow we are supposed to be in the 70's but Sunday the high should only be 28! That's our West Texas weather for you!

Merry Christmas!

So glad you left for up north before the snow storm hit. WE have a good 10 inches where I live and it's not even 10 am. Have fun this weekend and take care driving home.

If another storm comes through up you will at least have a beautiful place in which to keep warm.
Does Marvin get to keep the ornament?

Yes, the lights are great! And Marvin, being a cat, believes he should have anything he wants,... just ask my cat Middy! :) Glad you made the trip safely!

See! Told ya the lights would look great in the garland! LOL

By the way, LOVE the pic of Marvin. How you managed to sneak up and take a pic while he was sleeping is beyond me...

Glad you made it there safe and sound. Have fun while you're there! The lights do look nice on the garland, and Marvin looks too cute curled up with his little toy, even if he did "steal" it.

Happy Holidays!

You can use that picture of Marvin to embarass him with all his feline friends.

"This is Marvin when he was little. See how cute he was snuggling up with Mr. Moose off the Christmas tree."

Works with the kids.

The lights are the perfect touch! I am hog wild about my Christmas lights!

Marvin looks so sweet all snuggled up. What's he going to do when you pack up all the Christmas ornaments and decor? He may need Kitty therapy!

It sounds snug and cozy at the cabin! The lights on the staircase look beautiful, Shelley! I love it!

Marvin is so cute with his moose friend! It's so funny that he always picks that one! I think watching cats sleep is so relaxing...they just make you feel cozy watching them! :)

Have a great weekend and a Merry Christmas!
