Fun with our friends

We had some friends visit our log cabin this weekend and I think we did every activity imaginable that you could pack into 2 days.

Aren't they a cute couple?

Bet you wouldn't have guessed they were snipers! Ha,ha! We did some target shooting at my in-laws place.

Terri is a good shot! (I however am not. Looks like no career in law enforcement for me!)

Hubby is still proving that he has his secret service agent skills! (Yep - he was in the secret service eons ago!)

We took a quick visit to the Ausable River.

Had a bonfire but I forgot marshmallows. (Yes - I know - how could I?!)

The weather is getting warmer which means our visitors should increase to the cabin! Remember - I like cookies and pies!

Where did your snow go? Any chance that it will return? Glad to see that you had such a fun time with your friends! I can't shoot a gun, either! I'm a big ol' chicken when it comes to that sort of thing, anyway!

Cookies and pies, huh? If I ever come to Gaylord, I will have to stop at the Amish bakery near my town.

Looks like such fun. I seems your woods are waking from their long winter nap!

We love shooting! I am not as good as some but I keep practicing. And how nice to have a camp fire. Not around here, too dry and windy. It could set the entire county on fire and I wouldn't want to do that.

You deserve the title of hospitality queen. It seems to me that all of your friends would want to pay you a visit at your log cabin, even if you do forget the marshmellows. Looks like you all had so much fun.

Looks like you all had so much fun! I love target shooting.

We certainly eat our fair share, and then some, of s'mores here in the summer! We have a fire almost every weekend, unless it's too hot!

Have a great day, Denise

It looks like you had a great weekend even if you did forget the marshmallows! I'm glad Spring is edging closer to you up there in Michigan.

That looks like so much fun! We like to have bond fires out by our swing. Nothing like it. I can only imagine how great it would be in the woods by the lake.

Looks like you guys had a good weekend this time! Where the heck did all the snow go?
Secret service? That is so cool. I'll bet he has tons of interesting stories!
I was thinking about you this morning when a bird I had never seen before landed out our back door in one of the olive trees. I thought "Now see, Shelly would know what kind of bird that is . . . "
HAGD!!!

This passed summer we had company and decided to make S'mores. I bought the marshmallows, graham crackers and Hershey bars. We had a fire....made them and they just didn't taste as good as we all remembered -lol.

Campfires and weenie roasts, a magical combination! I told Dave that we have to have a fire ring when we build. I want to be able to have a campfire in the evening or when family and friends come to visit.

Little Debbie actually makes s'mores and my son LOVES them in his lunch. I am a purist myself, a s'more snob if you will. I gotta have the real ones!
Connie

If I ever come I'll bring my famous "Seven Dollar Pie"!
