Looking for green

Hoping we find some signs of spring at the log cabin this weekend. This photo is is from a little cove area in our lake and is a hot spot for turtles and frogs. I just want to see the color green again!

P.S. Do you think the above photo would make a good greeting card in my nature store?

Lovely photo Shelley!

I think the photo would be excellent as a greeting card. Possibly a photo of each of the 4seasons for the location.

If you get the weather we are going to get--you may find alittle green. Things are still thawing so not sure totally. We have massive flooding once again here.

Yep, use it as a Photo!

Oh I like the idea that BirdingMaine had for the cards. That would be great!

I am longing to see green grass, leaves on the trees, and flowers in bloom.

Great shades of green Shelley! i'll add my vote of "yes" to your question about making it into a greeting card.

I don't know about the cabin, but at least there is not the color white here at the moment! That is 1 step closer to green!! LOL!!

I love that shot, and I agree with BirdingMaine, all 4 seasons would be great!

That is so pretty Shelley!
It looks so much like the little lake we are on in the Thousand Isles.

WONDERFUL.... I am so glad to have found you a few weeks ago. Your photo of the Eagle feasting on that critter in your garden blog stays with me everything I am walking our woods and I see that eagle fly over head ( HIDE KITTIES!!!). I was going to suggest to you that you have a great talent and you should sell some of your work - then I noticed you have a nature store. OFF TO TAKE A LOOKSIE... thank you for sharing the wonderful life up in Michigan.

Your picture reminds me of how our pond looked before we dug out most of the cattails. Its a very pretty and calming picture. Perfect for a card.

First off, I think that would make a lovely card in your store. Second, I am looking for green too! But up here, I'm not finding it! LOL I looked under last year's leaves to see if the hosta was coming up today ... not yet. =/

Oh yes! It would make a lovely card! It reminds me of part of the lake I grew up on in Michigan. We lived on the "fishing" part of the lake - it connected to the "boating" part of the lake with a channel of water.

Have a wonderful weekend!

It certainly would make a lovely postcard. You could compose a calendar with a picture for each month.
