This is the life

Greg bought this frog and placed him by our small pond at our home downstate. I found this funny cuz he's such a "guy's guy" but this Frog appealed to him. This frog is "living the life" he said. Now I'm thinking we should bring the frog to the cabin and see how he likes it.

I was thinking of other items that would make life at the cabin extra nice....(besides my BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG GREG!!!) I'm thinking a Hammock kind of like this one...

Now who will fetch me my stawberry banana daquiris? Maybe I can train the dog to....well nevermind!

Good Morning Shelley ~~
Just catching up, love your little frog so cute...also love your table with the flowers on the deck, and the hammock sounds like a wonderful idea. Are you gonna change your header to fabulous spring and summer pictures...its a little unsettling to click on and see snow and ice. lol
Have a Great Day !! Hugs ~ Connie xox

Oh, that little froggy friend of yours makes me laugh! How cute is he? I definitely think a hammock is just what the doctor ordered...with a sweet dog sitting right beside it, of course. HINT, HINT, Greg!

Shelley I can't get nothin' done in the morning 'cause of your blogs! And OH, OH, OH I think that is a great hammock!

The frog is darling and I think it is sweet that your hubby liked him enough to get him and give him a home! And I could handle that strawberry banana daquiris order for ya. The Bernese, I think that might be a done deal!

Love that little frog... He does have a GREAT life... Looks like me at the beach--without the umbrella. ha

Our good friends have two hammocks that they take with them when they go camping. What a LIFE!!!!!

Have a great day.

Oh, Shelley! That hammock is top on my wish list! My aunt used to have a huge one tied between 2 trees with a view of the lake. Oh, how I loved to lay in that thing and dream!

The little frog guy is so cute. I have so many frogs around our house, I just don't know when I got them or why they are here...like magic.
If you can train your new dog to fetch drinks, I bet Gregg could teach him to be a fishing buddy. GREGG, do you hear that????

Yup, that frog has it made. Except I think he needs a friend to hang out with - like A BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG!

HEY GREG!!!!! I don't think her hints are going to get any more subtle . . .

LOL. Karen

Well, that frog is clearly a guy-frog, and a guy's guy sort of frog at that. I think he would enjoy the cabin and be just as relaxed up there, too! And the hammock is very nice. But you also need a horse (or two). Don't forget about the horse!

Lol...that frog is cute! Love the hammock - that would be perfect at the cabin.

I think the frog definitely needs to be at the cabin. I'll admit that I would put the hammock above the dog, however.

Frog and hammock would be matchy matchy (o: Very relaxing indeed.

Not to offend Greg, but I'm voting for the green striped hammock. Every mountain cabin needs one! It would go perfectly with the relaxing, laid back theme of the cabin. Keep us informed on your progress...of the dog and the hammock.

i think you need the hammock, too! hope your day is sunshiney

Funny the things that appeal to the guys! I do think the frog is cute!

The hammock does look nice and inviting, but for some reason, Shelley, I can't see you staying still enough and not "doing" long enough to really enjoy it! :) I see you out there photographing everything that nature brings your way!

Fun post! I also got a (non-reclining) frog for our yard, and I have been itching to get a hammock :)

That's something Wayne would love. He is always finding cute little knick knacks to put around the cabin. Our beloved parrot whirligig lost his tail in a recent overnight wind storm. His new name is Buttless Bird, but he still twirls his wings for us out on the float log. - Margy

That's so funny that Greg bought this. But sweet, too, don't you think? BTW, I just read about the baby dove trauma over on your bird blog (via my blog reader), but when I went to actually click over to the blog itself, Blogger said "Page not found"! Ack! I hope everything's okay with that blog! Anyway, I'm so sorry to hear that you lost one of your dove babies, and I really hope that stupid Jay stays away from Bob and what's left of his family! Hugs to you!

Shelley, forget what I just said about "Birding in Michigan" being down. I just tried again and it's fine. Hope I didn't scare you! Blogger can be so flaky sometimes!
