Morning has broken

Morning has broken,

Like the first morning....

Blackbird has spoken,

...like the first bird.

Praise for the singing, praise for the morning

Praise for them springing fresh from the world.

Sung by Cat Stevens. Lyrics by Eleanor Farjean.

I wanted to share one of my glorious mornings I had this weekend with you.

Good Morning---We are about to have our 3rd day above 55 degrees this year. Our house is on the northside of a hill so it's like the last place to lose the snow, but it is melting. We ran Ransom-- my sorta labrador dog---for the past 2 days in the woods without snowshoes. It's a huge work out, but just seeing him play in the snow is worth it. And everything just smells different than in the fall or the dead of winter. I've lived on this piece of land for 20 years now, and every season still amazes me. While I can't wait for the snow to melt, I'll be just as glad to see it in November again.:) Have a good day. Love the chickadee.

That was a great idea to use the lyrics to go along with your pictures. How tranquil! I'll bet when life starts crowding in on you, you go off to your "happy place" don't you?
