Giveaway from 'Building a Log Cabin!'

There is a special place called Zingerman's located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They have the best deli and bakehouse in the state in my opinion. In fact, their breads were voted one of the Top 12 Mail Order Bread sources in America! Every year during the holiday season they come out with this Cranberry Pecan Bread - it is so yummy that they have a waiting list for this bread! You have to try this stuff! In fact, I'm going to have a loaf shipped from Zingerman's to the winner of this Giveaway! All you have to do is post your entry here and leave a link back to your blog. If you mention my giveaway on your blog and link back to mine - I will add 3 extra entries for you to increase your chances of winning! Last day to enter is 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22nd. I will do a random drawing on Sunday, November 23rd. U.S. & Canadian residents only.

Good luck! This is a thank you to all of you who visit my blog and leave kind comments. I appreciate it so much! (Psst.... I'll be having more giveaways during December, so be sure to stop back!)

Here's the loaf Greg and I broke into last night. All you have to do is heat it up at 350 degrees, spread some butter on top and take a big bite!

I miss Zingerman's, and Ann Arbor in general (I'm a U of M grad). Every summer when I come home to visit my family I stop at Zingerman's to grab a sandwich, and maybe a chocolate croissant and their blueberry buckle. Such a great place!

THat is SOME AWESOME bread!!!

And totally off-topic: definitely submit photos to Birds & Blooms. Sometimes it takes a while for them to publish them (my barred owl one appeared two years later!), but it's fun and often they actually pay you, especially if you submit a story with it. I've had several things printed over the years, and used to be a "field editor" until they abolished that a year ago.

If they see YOUR bird photos, they'll probably want to hire you as staff photographer!!! :)

PS. I will post it on my blog - Michele

Man that looks good, and because I truly want Carolyn to win this, I will just sit here and salivate. (Plus, I am off the carbs for a bit, but don't tell her that. Shhhhhh.)
Go Carolyn!!! :c)

If for no other reason, we can watch the Golden Girls salivate and wag their tails as well.

I have been craving YUMMY bread! In fact, I borrowed my mother's bread machine to make fresh bread and it's cooking right now! I would use my oven (but it's broken). *pouts* But never fear, bread machine to the rescue!

Hi Shelley:
I came over from Dawnie's blog page. Your log cabin is beautiful and I love the pictures of all the little critters around there. I would be excited too, driving on that road on the way to the cabin. I bet it will look so cute decorated for Christmas.
Please enter me in your bread give away...wonder if they would ship to Utah?

Oh my gosh! Zingerman's bread--what could be better?

Here's a bit of trivia for you: The owner of Zingerman's (Ari? Avi? Can't remember) married my grandson and his wife last year on 7/7/07. (It was a purely secular, very funny, very charming ceremony.) Needless to say, whenever we have get-togethers now they're expected to bring the bread.
I've never had the cranberry bread, so of course, since I have this shirt tail connection, I should win! Doesn't everyone agree??
No? Awww. . .

I'm going to mention this on my blog. And if I don't win, I'll still think this was a really good idea!
